Artisanal jewelry and accessories reach high levels of craftsmanship from Spanish brand UNO de 50’s new line for Autumn/Winter 2015 dubbed as the Universe collection that takes inspiration from the earth and sky.
The collection is very much grounded on earth with terrestrial elements that evoke strength and energy, evident in the metal alloys that are made with hypoallergenic treatments, and leather tanned with vegetable dyes. Dragonfly pieces also complement some of the earth elements, highlighting the sense of freedom the pieces exude.
White and gray pearls representing the lunar phases take one soaring to the sky as colored Swarovski crystals glitter like stars – evoking emotions that are simply divine, highlighted by bold, silver-plated chains.
Through its creativity, unique style, bold spirit and 100 percent Spanish handcrafted pieces, UNO de 50 is truly set apart from the rest. Founded in the late 1990s by a group of designers who resolved to establish a brand of fashion jewelry and accessories that would break all existing molds, the brand started out with the original and exclusive philosophy of creating only 50 units for each design, thereby supplying the trademark name. This unorthodox approach soon proved an unqualified success.
Today, Uno de 50 has more than 50 shops in Spain and over 25 located in some of the world’s top fashion capitals such as New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Milan, Rome and Amsterdam. It opened its first store in Southeast Asia in partnership with SM Retail at SM Aura Premier earlier this year.
Uno de 50 is located at the Second Level of SM Aura Premier, the Third Floor of SM Megamall’s Mega Fashion Hall, at the Second Level of the SM Mall of Asia’s Main Hall, at the Ground Floor of SM Makati, and at the Ground Floor of SM Store’s Branded Accessories Section in SM City Cebu.
