IN order to redefine how the viewers seetelevision, Samsung Philippines, led by the award-winning Filipino filmmaker Paul Soriano, together with the Product Marketing Head for A/V Jun Guevarra and other Samsung PH’s executives, introduced its first ever '100-percent color volume'-verified Samsung QLED TV last Friday at the La Fuerza Plaza, Makati.

The new QLED TV, which offers a quantum dot-based LCD unit, aims to enhance consumers’ viewing experience with a picture quality that is as close to reality.

Soriano, who attested to the QLED TV’s great picture quality, shared that viewers can get the full experience.

“In this television, you get the whole experience,” assured Soriano. “It helps you get the story as clear as possible as it offers a cinematic experience.”

Samsung’s newest offering also gives depth and realness to the film through its 100% color volume. The first and exclusive Quantum Dot innovation succeeds the performance of a conventional television, giving much attention to details and promoting vibrant and rich colors.

Soriano emphasized the newest features of their product, such as the Precision Black technology that provides an ideal contrast by automatically adjusting the brightness. Its Ultra Black feature minimizes light reflection on the surface and reduces the glare.

He also highlighted the High-Dynamic Range feature of the QLED TV.

“This new technology increases the range and luminance level and allows viewers to catch details. HDR makes sure that you get the whole cinematic experience,” Soriano added, mentioning that the HDR feature allows viewers to catch details that would most likely be drowned out in bright or dark scenes when using the usual televisions.
