Staycation becomes a thing for those who wants to have a quick and laid-back vacation somewhere near the city. It can be out-of-town, but the idea is to just stay in, relax, and live royally for a couple of days.

For Maan Logarta, Malayan Insurance executive, who has kids, she opts for a homey place that the whole family can enjoy. "A staycation would be great. I'll look for one with very good reviews on Tripadvisor, check the photos to see if I like the interiors (affects my mental wellbeing), the rooms must have a big TV, and there should be a pool. It's also good to have affordable restaurants nearby as well."

"We are open to go to Vis/Min or Ilocos or Bicol too. Definitely not staycation though. Gagastos na rin lang, yung malayo na," Nannette Abreu shares, an executive of a meat distribution company.

As for Katrina Cabanos, content writer, "As long as there is free breaksfast buffet, I am good."
