Despite the pandemic, a solon from the House of Representatives has pushed for relevant and sweeping measures to provide comfort for Filipinos.

In a recent report, Anakalusugan Party-list Representative Mike Defensor highlighted key resolutions in Congress which includes raising the basic pay for nurses as well as investigation of alleged corruption in government.

The solon likewise thanked the leadership under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte, while explaining the different initiatives by his office.

Thirdly, Cong. Defensor also noted they were able to push through with some extensive investigation of PhilHealth, wherein they looked into the problem of corruption, resulting in the creation of House Bill 7832.

From the welfare of nurses, to electricity, to water, the SAP distribution, and the repatriation of OFWs, Defensor closed that they are steadfast in pursuing measures that are significantly needed by the populace, the Filipino.
