GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite—Seven cities and 16 towns in Cavite province have formally started their respective Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) programs to facilitate the tax payment process of investors in their respective localities.
Each city or town has taken steps to facilitate the process in a more spacious area amid the threat of COVID-10 in the country.
GenTri LGU re-launched their tax payment system at 2nd Floor of Robinson’s Place in Brgy. Tejero from January 3 to March 30, 2022. Only 200 applicants will be accommodated per day from 9am to 6pm, Mondays to Fridays.
According to the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) head Romel Olimpo, no walk-in applicants are allowed as they observed safety measures in compliance with the government guidelines.
Only applicants will be admitted to the BOSS area. Clients with special needs (Senior Citizens, Pregnant Women, and PWDs) may bring a companion.
“Kagandahan dito, they will go here for just for payment for the online transaction, Kaya mabilis ang process and also observed and social distancing with minimal people around,” Olimpo said.
In the neighboring town of Noveleta, for second consecutive year, Noveleta LGU opened their Business One Stop Shop or BOSS at 2nd Floor of Primark Town Center in Barangay Magdiwang to ease the government tax payment system in the locality.
According to Mayor Dino Chua, “We make it here again for the convenience of local taxpayers and for space in accordance with government guidelines.”
Noveleta now has a P246 million budget for 2022 approved by Sangguniang Bayan under Vice Mayor Arlyn Torres, up from P148 million from last year.
Bacoor LGU put their BOSS program at Strike Gymnasium inside Bacoor Government Center Mondays to Fridays (8am to 5pm)
Imus LGU placed its BOSS program at Maliksing Kabataan Building inside of Imus Pilot School, instead of Imus Sport Center, because it is now used as a vaccination site.
Trece Martires City opened their tax payment system at the city hall area from January 3 to 20, with only 200 persons allowed daily.
Dasmariñas City LGU placed their BOSS program at Vistamall grounds at Barangay San Agustin until January 31, while Alfonso town installed its BOSS system at the Alfonso town plaza.
