A whole day event as a treat for moms and their families by Viu Philippines
Last May 14, 2023, leading pan-regional video streaming service Viu celebrated all mothers in the Metro with “Mom’s Viu-tiful Day” at The Block Activity Center, SM North EDSA. It was a day to show appreciation for all that moms do— by giving them a day full of joy and surprises.
“Moms have a lot on their minds and plates on a daily basis, and they always tend to put others first. However, Mother’s Day is their day, together with our esteemed event partners, we packed this event with enjoyable activities and surprises to honor the courage and joy that come with being a mother,” said Mr. Vinchi Sy-Quia, Deputy Country Manager.
“Through our platform, we also bring them the best of online Asian entertainment which they can enjoy with their families or at their own time.”
The whole-day event was held at The Block Activity Center, SM North EDSA, which was transformed into a “playground” for moms.
Event partners Nido , Virginia Foods, Silka, and Ensure Gold had activity booths surrounding the venue. The Eomma Massage Corner offered complimentary head, back, and hand massages to mothers, while Viu awarded 6-month Viu Premium Subscriptions to the mother who posted her Best MOMent on social media with the venue’s elegant photo wall in the most creative manner.
As experts in Toddler Protection, NIDO(R) 3+ celebrated all #1Moms with an interactive AR booth in line with its #1Moms campaign, which features a new rendition of their iconic “You’re My #1” song, empowering moms who tend to only see their flaws to #SeeWhatYourToddlerSees, which is that they are #1 in their eyes.
For everything K-Beauty, moms headed to the K-Beauty Bar where they were able to check-out the latest K-makeup from Ever Bilena. Moms were also given free makeovers by professional makeup artists while the rest of their family hung out at Viu’s Chill Spot.
Event host K.A. Antonio took the stage to moderate activities and prizes from Ajinomoto and Crispy Fry, as well as introduce the influencers who delivered the workshops that day.
The audience was treated to a beauty session given by beauty influencer Romsy Dineros as she discussed how to get the perfect K-Beauty look, while mommy influencer Abby Tabladillo demonstrated how to make corndogs for the family using Virginia Premium Hotdogs..
Rounding up the festivities was singer-songwriter Aia de Leon who serenaded moms and their families with her greatest hits.
