Vista Land & Lifescapes, Inc. was awarded the silver award at the 2022 Asia-Pacific Stevie Award for its “Villar Group Convention”, which was noted for its excellence and innovation under the category of consumer events.
Camille Villar, Managing Director of Vista Land Commercial Division, has welcomed the recognition of the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards for Villar Group’s series of innovative activities that showcased its property and retail products in big virtual events despite the coronavirus 2019 pandemic.
“On behalf of Vista Land, and the whole Villar Group, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for this honor from the Asia Pacific-Stevie Awards,” she said in her acceptance speech during the virtual awarding ceremony held on June 29.
“These are very exciting and challenging times and we recognize how insight and innovation will always play a crucial role in defining what the best experience for our consumers will be,” Villar added.
Validation of the Villar Group’s success
Villar explained how the Villar Group convention became innovative in finding “alternative ways to reach our target market, sellers, business partners, and retail consumers at a time when in-person business operations were restricted.”
“We endeavored to provide a comprehensive, useful, and ultimately attractive online experience to our clients that expand to multiple industries, providing them access to trends, insights, and opportunities on a platform accessible to them from the comfort of their own homes,” she said.
“This Stevie is a welcome validation of the success we garnered from these series of events,” she added.
Defying the odds, the Villar Group led by business tycoon Manny Villar, held the two-day Villar Group Convention or “ViCon”, a virtual property expo that gathered industry giants and esteemed experts in the real estate industry.
During the first expo, where Vista Land showcased virtually its real estate offerings, ViCon generated P 195 million in reservation sales.
The second ViCon held on October 15, 2021, gathered 3,000 licensed brokers, real estate agents, and potential sellers that gave them insights on the opportunities in becoming part of the real estate industry. The third ViCon showcased the Group’s retail stores—AllHome, AllDay Supermarket, among others – during the Retail Innovation Shopping Expo.
In the pre-recorded speech, Villar said the Filipino consumers could expect “more creativity and innovation from the Villar Group” as it continues to move towards the future.
“This serves, not only to celebrate our spirit of innovation but fuel our desire to always make things better, easier, and more accessible to our beloved Filipino customers,” Villar said.
The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognize innovation in the workplace in all 29 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. The Stevie Awards are widely considered to be the world’s premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards® for 20 years.
Nicknamed the Steviesfor the Greek word for “crowned,” the winners were feted during a virtual (online) awards ceremony on June 29.
More than 900 nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered this year in categories such as Award for Excellence in Innovation in Products & Services, Award for Innovative Management, and Award for Innovation in Corporate Websites, among many others. Vista Land and Lifescapes, Inc. won in the Innovations in Consumer Events category.
