Loman battles top-ranked bantamweight Lineker in explosive debut

Stephen “The Sniper” Loman will make his ONE Championship debut during the titanic ONE on TNT event series that kicks off next month.

Loman takes on #1-ranked bantamweight John “Hands Of Stone” Lineker at ONE on TNT IV, which airs on primetime television in the United States on 28 April.

Loman comes from the highly touted Team Lakay in Baguio City and is perhaps the most hyped athlete to recently debut in The Home Of Martial Arts.

With a 14-2 record and riding an eight-match win streak, the hype is certainly warranted – but he’ll have to keep that momentum going if he wants a shot at the World Title.

Also, Loman has added motivation entering this match since his teammate, former ONE Bantamweight World Champion Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon, lost to the Brazilian powerhouse last November by second-round TKO.

If Loman can hurdle Lineker not only will he redeem Team Lakay, but he will also make a solid first impression on the global stage of martial arts.

The pair of bantamweights will join a loaded card headlined by a trilogy between ONE Light Heavyweight World Champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang and Vitaly Bigdash.

Also beefing up the event is Japanese mixed martial arts legend Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki, who takes on American “Super” Sage Northcutt in a three-round lightweight bout.
