After suffering a string of four losses, Filipino fighter Jomary Torres is looking for a chance to bounce back from her misfortunes.
Torres’ coming fight this Friday against Ritu Phogat of India in the atomweight division will be her chance.
“Ensayo pa rin ako para makabawi para sa pamilya ko at sa Team Lakay,” said Torres on Zoom.
Her fight against Phogat is one of the featured fights in is One: Big Bang, set this Friday Singapore Indoor Stadium, Singapore.
In her last fight last January, Torres lost via a no-contest ruling to Jenny Hung due to an accidental low blow.
Meanwhile, Phogat comes into the fight with momentum on her side.
The 20-year-old Phogat has won three straight, with her last bout with Nou Srey Pov, coming via technical knockout in Round 2.
This Friday, ONE light heavyweight kickboxing world champion Roman Kryklia defends his title against Murat Aygun.
