The main objective of FESSAP is to put together an elite group composed of various representatives from karate clubs/associations totaling 10 or more for a quorum to tackle its various programs from 2020 to 2022.

One proposed program is the staging of a National Competition among its members to be annually in October or November.

The FKC Committee welcomes any school that plans to host the national tournament in a bid to attract more entries from the student athletes’ sector.

The members of the FKC Committee are expected to come out with the rules and regulations based on their respective ideas and provisions.

All Karate Clubs and Associations that are registered members with the FESSAP Karate Club is eligible to be committee members and decide on the future that the FESSAP Karate Club will undertake.

The Committee Chair will be designated by the FESSAP Board of Trustees. The Committee members have the right to vote on any issues at stake.  The FESSAP will provide the venue and expenses incurred for any meeting to be held in the future.

Furthermore, Chinese Taipei University Sports Federation has issued an invitation to the FESSAP for Filipino university athletes to take part in the Kata category of their National Inter-Collegiate Athletic Games to be held from May 1 to 6, 2020.

The delegation is to be composed of three Kata student-athletes and one official.

The airfare will be shouldered by them. The departure date for the flight from Manila to Kaohsiung in Taiwan is set for May 1. The return flight to Manila will be on May 6.  The participants in the Games must provide travel insurance as required. No entry visa to Taiwan is needed.

Another event, where FESSAP can send a team to is the 3rd Malaysia Open International Karate Championship from March 26 to 29, 2020 in Melaka.

Finally, the FESSAP is introducing Orienteering-Philippines, a National Sports Association recognized by the IOC-affiliates International Orienteering Federation.

Orienteering is an international sport combining both physical and mental elements. The very basic idea in orienteering is to visit a number of control points in a predetermined order with the help of only a map and compass.

Orienteers are allowed to decide their choice of route for each leg (the course between two individual control points) by essaying the different features of the terrain.

The FESSAP will be inviting all athletes and officials that are members of the Karate Committee to the seminar on Orienteering in mid-March 2020.
