Bren Esports defeated Galaxy Racer (GXR) in the VALORANT Champions Tour Challengers PH Sunday night, winning in four games of a best-of-five series to claim the first right to represent the country in the Southeast Asian playoffs.

The first map was in Icebox and GXR was the one which picked but Bren came out on top winning 13-8.

In map 2, Bren picked the map which was in Haven, and once again won, this time with a score of 13-6.

The next map was in Breeze, the latest map added in VALORANT, with GXR avoiding being swept as it posted a 13-9 victory, wining the last eight rounds of the game.

The last map was in Ascent, which was Bren’s pick. This was the only game that went into overtime.

Bren started slow, winning only 4 rounds in the first half but came back when they were on the defending side.

In round 24, GXR had the chance to win the game and go to a 5th and final game but Bren had another idea and brought it to overtime.

They cruised through OT as they won both rounds and sealed the game and series with a 14-12 win.
