Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines president Ricky Vargas is the special guest in the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum webcast on Tuesday (June 30).
Vargas, the former Philippine Olympic Committee president and current PBA Board chairman, will be joined by ABAP secretary-general Ed Picson in the session that starts at 10:30 a.m.
The boxing federation is still in the process of qualifying Filipino pugs to the Tokyo Olympics. So far, two Philippine boxers in Eumir Felix Marcial and Irish Magno have qualified to the games, which has been postponed for next year following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
