He was not supposed to play that evening, but Pogoy still suited up, brandishing the characteristics of a wolverine known for its enhanced physical capabilities and powerful regenerative ability.

Pogoy’s desire to help his team win compelled TNT Tropang Giga coach Bong Ravena to bring him on the floor and it worked as he helped carry his squad to victory no. 4.

His heroics allowed the Tropang Giga to stay on top of the standings in the Philippine Basketball Association Philippine Cup inside the bubble at the Angeles University Foundation Sports Arena in Angeles City, Pampanga Monday evening.

A sprained ankle was supposed to keep Pogoy in the sidelines.
