Cariaso, who took over for Alex Compton, is looking to turn things around for Alaska, who had a mediocre run in the past few conferences.

“We’re looking forward to a fresh start,” said Cariaso. “Hopefully we can start on a high note.”

This Alaska coaching stint is Cariaso’s second in the league as he first held a coaching job at Ginebra briefly in 2014.

For the nightcap, the Elasto Painters will have Joel Wright as its import, while Mychal Ammons will suit up for the Batang Pier.

Wright previously played for Magnolia, while Ammons was TNT’s former import.
