The British wrestling tag team Pretty Deadly duo of Lewis Howley and Sam Stoker celebrated their reunion on the ring with a bang recently.

Howley and Stoker were able to come up with a good win over Jack Starz and Nathan Frazer on that day.

This comes months after they were not able to be together because of coronavirus lockdowns that took place in the United Kingdom.

“We were separated in the first few months of the pandemic in the UK. I went to see my mother, and then the lockdowns came. And it became an emotional time when I finally got to see my partner here,” said Howley when he finally got together with Stoker.

The two are part of NXT UK Tag Team Championship Pretty Deadly, and their fight made its long-awaited debut to Filipino viewers on Sunday night, July 11 in Tap Sports.

To commemorate the Philippine debut of NXT UK®, a group of Superstars including NXT UK Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly, Jinny, and Aleah James were invited to the Philippine Embassy in Central London for a meeting with  Antonio Manuel R. Lagdameo, the Philippine Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and North Ireland.

Lagdameo was presented with his very own NXT UK Championship belt as a symbol of gratitude for the burgeoning relationship between NXT UK® and the Philippines.

Nowadays, Howley and Stoker show off their trophies from their return bout with pride.

“We trained and trained hard. So we earned this opportunity to get our goal,” said Howley on behalf of Stoker.

NXT UK will soon be showcasing many of its the brightest in professional wrestling.

And this includes Walter, Kay Lee Ray, A-Kid, Trent Seven, Meiko Satomura, and Tyler Bate, the youngest singles champion in WWE history.

Stoker said they are glad on where their journey in professional wrestling has taken them.

“We are slowly kind of expanding. And we’re kind of now entering the world of the Philippines,” said Stoker, on how far their audience reach has gone during the pandemic.
