Because the game of basketball has increasingly becoming global, Fiberkinetics, a Filipino-owned company, has taken a giant step to revolutionize the way Filipinos ballers play.

But what is Fiberkinetics and how does it help Filipino ballers approach the game?

Fiberkinetics is a company that specializes in importation and manufacture of institutional-grade basketball goal systems, including lights, flooring, timing and digital scoreboards.

From its original brand called Fibertech in 1994, the company has rebranded itself to Fiberkinetics in 2011.

Fiberkinetics had since improved its product line and even expanded to other sports, notably volleyball, where there is a big demand for high-grade posts and flooring systems.

According to Ian Navarroza, Sales and Marketing manager of Fiberkinetics, since 1994, the company has installed more than 600 goal systems all over the country and is continuously looking to partner with learning institutions, commercial courts, private courts, and government facilities nationwide, even down to the barangay level.

In recent years, Fibertech has shifted its focus in providing equipment for three-point shootouts and 3×3 streetball tournaments.

Navarozza said the shift to a halfcourt system has its advantages, since it’s easier to set up the goal system in a more controlled environment.

”This has become one of the company’s goals because through 3×3 tournaments,  there is a bigger space for aspiring players to showcase their talents,” said Navarozza.

He added that Fiberkinetics’ foray to 3×3 tournaments is timely since the sports has gained traction from the International Olympic Committee and FIBA, the world governing body for basketball.

“I think Filipino ballers have a more than even chance of making it to the top of 3×3 basketball.  After all, this was how most young Filipinos started to learn and play the game,” Navarozza said.

Needless to say, Fiberkinetics’ goal system could play a big part in inspiring Filipino ballers to play their best, because they are assured of a fail-safe, state-of-the-art and worry-free playing environment.

“Our goal system and equipment, from basketball rims, goal posts, timing, scoring, flooring, and chairs have been approved by FIBA and are designed to boost the players’ optimum skills,” Navarozza said.
