RODOLFO Barquin won over RJ Singson to win the boys’ 18-under singles crown, while Gennifer Pagente snared two titles yesterday in the fifth leg of Globe 17th HEAD Graphene XT Junior Tennis Satellite Circuit Dumaguete City leg at the Praxevilla tennis courts in Dumaguete City.
Barquin defeated RJ Singson in the finals, 6-1, 6-1, to pocket the trophy, while Pagente whipped Shyryn Salazar in the championship round of girls’ 16-under singles’ division, 6-3, 6-3. Pagente also bagged the girls’ 14-under singles’ crown by outlasting Valerie Desoyo, 6-1, 6-0.

In other championship singles’ results, Reyniel Marcilliana bashed Christian Lagat, 6-2, 6-4, to claim the boys’ 16-under crown; Ybarra Ortega blanked Fernando Caesar Po, 6-3, 6-1, to grab the boys’ 14-under crown; and Alekzander Po trounced Joshua Raymundo, 6-2, 6-4, for the 12-under title.
