KARTING action heats up as top young guns engage in yet another intense showdown for the titles at stake in the second leg of the 2015 National Karting Super Series today at the Batangas Racing Circuit.
Eduardo Coseteng Jr. of Eagle Cement and Flynn Jackes of Team Kart Master Drakar-Singapore gear up for another heart-stopping duel in both the Mini-ROK XCS and KF Restricted Blaze 100 classes of this event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and sponsored by Petron, Petron Blaze 100 Euro 4, Petron XCS, Petron Ultron, Petron Xtra, Petron Sprint, Magnolia Pure Water and Yokohama, the official tires.
Coseteng scored a big triumph over Jackes in their head-to-head encounter for the KF Restricted Blaze 100 in the kickoff leg at the Carmona Racetrack.
But Jackes exacted sweet revenge when he captured the Mini-ROK XCS crown over the fast-improving Rap Rap Gutierrez as Coseteng settled for third place.
Joining them in the hunt for the Mini-ROK XCS title are Jarred Kim of Formula-E Racing and Constantin Reisch.
Favored in the other divisions are Zach David of Formula-E Racing and Inigo Anton of Kart Plaza.
David will be gunning for his second straight win in the Formula Cadet Expert Ultron over Joaquin Garrido, while Anton is eyeing his second victory in the Formula Cadet Novice Ultron over Kristine Yokoyama, Maverick Corpus and Constantin Reisch.
