Sen. Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla was euphoric over the success of his “Kap’s Amazing Agimat Birthday Giveaway” seen on his two-day birthday celebration last Saturday, Sept. 25, and Sunday, Sept. 26.
Fans and online viewers stayed on until the million peso cash and giveaways were won.
On his birthday, Sept. 25, Sen. Bong’s sister, former actress Princess Revilla came and added 100K to the cash prizes. On the second night, Sept. 26, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada joined in and gave 100K to the cash prize.
Sen. Bong’s wife and Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla, added to the event’s glitter, together with their children Bryan, Gianna, Loudette, Ram, and Vice-Governor Jolo together with his wife Angelica.
Sen. Bong unashamedly shedded tears for online watchers sharing about losing jobs during the pandemic, getting such and in need of money.
In ‘Agimat ng Agila Games’ winners won as much as P200K. In ‘Amazing Roleta,’ a handful won P100K and P200K. Consolation cash prizes (1K, 5K) were given away randomly.
The Sept. 25 streaming reached 1.2 million audiences, had 87K shares, 400K views, and 640K comments. The Sept. 26 streaming, on the other hand, had 1.5 million audience reach, 85K shares, 450K views, and 900K comments.
“We don’t want to add burden to the public in these contests…we want them to have a fair chance and be happy. I want everyone to win, be happy…receive financial aid,” Sen. Bong said.
The actor-politician also thanked his friends and sponsors who helped collect about 4 million cash, worth of gadgets, and livelihood packages. He also promised to do a similar online giveaway probably a Christmas gift-giving to our countrymen.
