Bringing comprehensive election coverage to Filipinos across regions

As Filipinos vote for the country’s next leaders, GMA Regional TV (RTV) is all set to deliver local election news in various communities outside Metro Manila via GMA Regional TV Eleksyon 2022 Special Coverage.

With its local news hubs strategically located all over the Philippines, GMA RTV deploys its over 60 news teams in key areas of North Central Luzon (GMA Dagupan and GMA Ilocos), Southern Luzon (GMA Batangas), Bicol Region (GMA Bicol), Central and Eastern Visayas (GMA Cebu), Western Visayas (GMA Iloilo and GMA Bacolod), Northern Mindanao (GMA Cagayan de Oro), Southern Mindanao (GMA Davao), South Central Mindanao (GMA General Santos), and Western Mindanao (GMA Zamboanga).

As part of GMA Network’s election advocacy campaigns, GMA Regional TV and Synergy went around the country for the “GMA Masterclass Series”

Today and tomorrow, viewers in the regions get the latest election news via the 13 GMA RTV-produced programs composed of award-winning local newscasts airing at 5:00 p.m. on GMA regional channels: GMA Regional TV Balitang Amianan, GMA Regional TV Balitang Bicolandia, GMA Regional TV Balitang Southern Tagalog, GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak, GMA Regional TV One Western Visayas, GMA Regional TV One Mindanao; as well as the morning shows GMA Regional TV Live!, At Home with GMA Regional TV, GMA Regional TV Early Edition, Mornings with GMA Regional TV, GMA Regional TV Balitang Southern Tagalog Early Edition, and GMA Regional TV Balitang Bicolandia Early Edition airing at 8:00 a.m. 

On national TV, GMA Regional TV News airs local news at 10:00 a.m. on GTV. Online, local news and information are available on www.GMARegionalTV.com and the programs’ Facebook pages.

GMA RTV is working hand-in-hand with various schools to provide public service to Kapuso all throughout the country. An Eleksyon 2022 Help Desk has been set up in all its regional TV stations with the following hotlines:

With the help of the network’s Eleksyon 2022 partner-schools, student volunteers will receive calls and assist the public with election-related concerns.

Leading the partner-schools are the University of Northern Philippines, University of Luzon, Ateneo De Naga University, University of Nueva Caceres, University of San Carlos, Silliman University, Central Philippine University, University of Saint La Salle Bacolod, Xavier University-Ateneo De Cagayan, Central Mindanao University, Holy Cross of Davao College, Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, and Western Mindanao State University – all of which have pledged their support to give the voters the assistance they need this election.

And for the first time, GMA’s Eleksyon 2022 partners are also joined by the member schools of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA): Arellano University, Colegio De San Juan De Letran, De La Salle – College of St. Benilde, Emilio Aguinaldo College, José Rizal University President, Lyceum of the Philippines University, San Sebastian College-Recoletos, and University of Perpetual Help System – DALTA.
