Recently, Barangay LS 97. 1 launched its new theme song ‘Tayo ay Forever,’ which was performed by no less than the phenomenal Kapuso love team of Rita Daniela and Ken Chan (RitKen), echoing the meaning of “forever” in all its forms. RitKen also starred in its back-to-back digital short films entitled The Start of Forever and Feels like Forever, which were both warmly received by the audience garnering a total of over six million views on Facebook.

This time, the disc jocks of Barangay LS 97.1 were game to share whether they’ve found, experienced, or have applied it in their careers and personal lives.

Potpot and Friends hosts Papa Carlo and Papa Jepoy shared their funny yet heartwarming sentiments on forever. Papa Carlo said forever can be applied to his job as  a radio jock, “Dahil masaya ako, kung anong meron ako ngayon, ‘yun din ang ibinabahagi ko sa listeners natin.

Kidding aside, he said that being a forever husband and a dad motivates him to work harder so he can give all the best for his family.

Promise nandiyan na yun, on the way na,” he encouraged.

On the other hand, Papa Dudut of hit afternoon programs Barangay LS Presents and Barangay Love Stories said his family, work, and listeners constantly remind him of the presence of forever in his life.

Pangalawa, my work as a DJ at seventeen years na pala ako as a Kapuso. May forever din kami nggirlfriend ko for five years. At syempre, I treat my listeners and fans as my forever blessings din.”

Meanwhile, Wanted Forever duo Papa Bol and Lady Gracia vow to do their best in what they do in order to spread the value of forever among their listeners. After all, they take care of concerns of the heart most of the time.

Papa Bol said that the concept of forever is not just about having a romantic relationship. It is also about everything that surrounds us, “I show them the wonderful little things first that can be their forever source of happiness.”

He also imparted an advice to those who have yet to grasp the possibility of finding lasting relationships. Stop thinking about the “what ifs”.
