McCann Worldgroup Philippines bolsters its reputation as the country’s most effective agency by recently emerging as the best performing Philippine agency at two of the most recognized effectiveness award shows that tracks business results.

McCann Worldgroup Philippines is a top-of-mind advertising brand and a leading marketing services company in the country. 

At this year’s prestigious Asia Pacific Effies, McCann/MRM won a Gold and Silver for its KitKat “Break In Case Of Emotional Emergencies” idea for Nestlé Philippines. It was the only Philippine Agency to pick up a win this year at what is acknowledged as the industry’s most important effectiveness award show. 

“Marketing efforts are a dime a dozen but only a handful sticks with you and far less few truly disrupts and most of the time it is only those content that meant something to you,” Raul Castro,  McCann Worldgroup Philippines’ Chairman and CEO answered when asked for a formula.

This is the third straight winning year for McCann Worldgroup after picking up Bronze for MRM’s MMDA “May Huli Ba?” web solution in 2017, before leveling up in 2018 with two Golds, One Silver and Two Bronze Effies in 2018 for its hugely successful, “Kwentong Jollibee” digital film series.   

The agency followed this up by being named Agency of the Year at the 2019 Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards last June with three Golds (Two for Nestlé KitKat and One for Jollibee), and five Bronzes for Jollibee, Philippine Airlines and San Miguel. The APAC Tambuli awards measure business results through advertising and solutions which promote good values.

“Winning for big brands like San Miguel, Jollibee, Philippine Airlines, RiteMed and Nestlé, as well as SMEs and organizations like Fully Booked and MMDA and is just a reminder that we invest the same level of excellence into all our clients’ brands, no matter the size,” Mon Garcia, McCann Worldgroup Philippines’ COO shares.   

On top of bringing in great numbers for their clients, McCann also remains one of the country’s most consistent performers at leading international creativity award shows like Cannes, AdFest, Spikes, LIA, The One Show, New York Festivals and the local Kidlat Awards.  

The company is part of McCann Worldgroup Worldwide, which was named 2019 Network of the Year by both the Effies and Cannes Lions, stamping its class in both Effectiveness and Creative Excellence.
