Today, Sen. Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao’s Stories for the Soul presents another story that will make viewers appreciate the value of their parents.
Inspired by the Bible’s “Parable of the Prodigal Son,” its episode entitled “Alibughang Anak” is about the story of Jess (Juan Rodrigo) and his two sons, Alex (Martin del Rosario) and Patrick (Jeric Gonzales).
Alex, the older one, is hardworking and helps out his father run their family bakery business in the province. On the other hand, his youngest son, Patrick, is carefree and adventurous.
One day, Jess tells his plan to set up another bakery for Patrick. However, the latter wants to become a model and an actor. With his ambition in mind, he then asks for the money that will be used for the business expansion and heads to pursue his dreams.
In finding a way to achieve his dreams, Patrick spends his money in irrelevant things. Soon, his ambition starts to crumble while his money eventually runs out.
With this, will he admit to his mistakes and ask for forgiveness from his family?
