American singer Diana Ross expresses her gratitude in new single ‘Thank You,’ her first studio album in 15 years.

The record is out in the autumn, but the title track with the same name was made available for last Friday.

The former lead singer of The Supremes revealed in a press release that “Thank You” is the follow-up to her 2006 album “I Love You.”

"This collection of songs is my gift to you with appreciation and love,” said Ross. “I am eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to record this glorious music at this time.”

The 77-year-old soul singer shared she recorded the entire album in her home studio during the pandemic. According to her, the album is a response to the challenges people faced.

Ross described the album as "a powerful, inclusive musical message of love and togetherness; with its songs of happiness, appreciation, and joy, it wholeheartedly acknowledges that we are in this all together.”

“I dedicate this songbook of love to all of you, the listeners. As you hear my voice, you hear my heart. Let love lead the way,” Ross said.

The album has 13 tracks with the carrier single “Thank You,” followed by “If the World Just Danced,” “All Is Well,” “In Your Heart,” “Just In Case,” “The Answers Always Love,” “Let’s Do It,” “I Still Believe,” “Count On Me,” “Tomorrow,” “Beautiful Love,” “Time To Call,” and “Come Together.”

Ross co-wrote all the tracks and collaborated with a variety of producers like Jack Antonoff (Taylor Swift, Lorde, Lana del Rey), Theron Feemster (Eminem, Ne-Yo), Tayla Parx (Ariana Grande, Khalid), and others.
