BINI’s debut single entitled “Born to Win” speaks about courage, strength, and determination. Fueled by their passion and dedication for excellence, BINI, together with BINI’s Korean partners MU Doctor, aims to not just make captivating music, but ignite an empowered mindset for the youth of today.

BINI goes for the gold
BINI, the fast-rising 8-member P-pop girl group, has finally made its official debut, after two years in training under ABS-CBN’s Star Hunt Academy (SHA) and half a year as a rookie act.

Established in 2013 in South Korea, MU Doctor is an esteemed training group with a roster of professionals and experts in vocals and dance. They have helped launched successful idol careers, producing over 300 trainees fielded out to various entertainment companies including YG and JYP.

Famous K-Pop stars who have trained under MU Doctor include Song Minho (WINNER), Hye-bin (Momoland), I.M (Monsta X), and Changbin (Stray Kids).

“Born To Win” is an elegant, yet fierce electronic-pop track with strong melodic hooks, while showing off the group’s crisp vocals. MU Doctor worked with Helsinki-based artist/composer Eva Louhivuori on the lyrics and composition of “Born to Win.” Louhivuori has worked with K-Pop singer Gugudan and J-Pop artist Mirei Toyama, apart from her own music career in Europe. Apart from her, composition and arrangement are attributed to RYVNG and Maynine of StupidSquad. Chorus was done by Sophia Pae, while digital editing was by Jang Tae In. Mixing and mastering were also by Jang Tae In at Seoul Archive and was administered by Mudoctor Studio.

The formidable Cube Entertainment is to thank for the dance routine of “Born to Win.” Headed by Kim Hyunjin, Cube’s choreography team called Star System has choreographed for top K-Pop acts under their wing such as Hyuna, 4Minute, CLC, and (G)-IDLE.

These synergies are part of BINI’s movement as Filipino youths to the world, infusing culture, craft, and values into internationally competitive production and performance. This movement comes full circle with fashion becoming a main element of the launch – making the Born to Win era much more than just a musical debut.

That said, BINI worked with the esteemed fashion designer Francis Libiran for three sets of bespoke ensembles. With a body of work that spans the red carpets of the Philippines to Hollywood, Libiran is ready to adorn BINI in unique pieces worthy of the world stage. These pieces will be unveiled in Part 1 of BINI: The Launch on June 4, entitled “The Runway”.

More of Born to Win’s defining pieces are crafted by breakthrough local brand Wolfram Designs, pushing Filipino artistry and talent even further to the world. The stars align in this era with Blackcode MNL’s Ica Villanueva serving as Visual Director. A feature of The Runway on TV Patrol.

As for Part 2 of the launch event entitled “The Showcase,” we witness BINI in the entirety of their new form, spotlighting the era’s concept with the girls’ musicality and performance.

BINI’s distinct, sharp, and coordinated choreographies are all thanks to Austrian-born Mickey Perz, along with coaches Matthew Almodovar and Reden Blanquera.

BINI goes for the gold

As for BINI’s vocal calisthenics and harmonies, these are largely due to the efforts of Coach Kitchy Molina, considered an institution when it comes to vocal training. They are currently being mentored by Coach Anna Graham, an experienced vocal coach, and singer, who continues to push their vocal abilities to the next level.

From their humble roots in the Star Hunt Academy camp to dreams of global stardom, BINI’s story continues to unfold, pushing boundaries, and going for gold.
