In July 2022, Treasure came to Manila for 2022 Kpop Masterz in Manila with two other artists (Bambam and Jackson Wang).
Last weekend, the YG Entertainment boy group finally returned and took the SM Moa Arena by storm with two days of high-energy performances in 2023 Treasure Hell Tour in Manila. The concert was presented by Live Nation Philippines.
Treasure members – Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Junkyu, Yoshi, Park Jeong-woo, Yoon Jae-hyuk, and So Jung-hwan – performed with a live band, interacted with their fans, spoke in Tagalog, and went down from the stage to the floor so their fans, the Filipino Teumes, could see them up close.
The boys were very energetic and enthusiastic and their performances were electrifying and loud, with each number showcasing the members’ talents.
Treasure started strong with “Jikjin,” the main track of their first mini-album The Second Step: Chapter One that came out in February 2022. This was followed by “Boy,” “I Love You,” “Going Crazy,” “Come To Me,” and “B.L.T (Bling Like This).”
They also performed “Slowmotion,” “It’s Okay,” “Hello,” “Clap!,” “Darari,” “Orange,” “Hold It In,” “Thank You,” “VolKno,” “MMM,” “Rhythm Ta,” “Bang Bang Bang,” “U,” “My Treasure,” “Everyday,” and “BFF.”
As per tradition, whenever a K-pop group performs in Manila, the Treasure boys said cute pick-up lines in Filipino during the concert.
“Teacher ka ba? Kasi you taught me how to love (Are you a teacher? Because you taught me how to love),” said So Jung-hwan.
“May sasabihin ako sa inyo. Crush kita (I want to tell you something. You are my crush),” said Park Jeong-woo.
“Treasure Maker, wait. There is something on your face: cute, maganda (beautiful), sexy,” said Junkyu.
There was also a surprise birthday celebration for members Haruto and Choi Hyun-suk, whose birthdays are on April 5 and 21, respectively, with cake gifted by fans presented on stage.
“Thank you for congratulating me on my birthday, and I will continue to be a hard-working Treasure member,” said Haruto.
“I am touched by the surprise gift. I am very grateful and I love you,” said Choi Hyun-suk, Treasure’s leader.
As the show ended, Treasure said goodbye to their Filipino fans.
“I got so much energy from you tonight. I hope you also were able to get energy from us. Thank you,” said Park Jeong-woo.
“Treasure Maker, thanks for coming today. I will remember this moment and never forget the love and energy from you all,” said Doyoung.
Fans took to Twitter to express their love for Treasure after the two-day concert.
