Rumored couple Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez are joining OPM hitmaker Ogie Alcasid in a concert tour titled OA sa Love in the USA.
The trio will be heading to the Alex Theatre in Glendale California (March 26), Sycuan Casino Resort & Spa in San Diego, California (April 2), and Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California (April 3).
The group is expected to leave for Los Angeles on March 24.
“It’s been two years na tayong lahat ay nasa bahay lang and, of course, working under very very strict health protocols. But as far as the live entertainment is concerned, ngayon lang talaga nagsisimula for us,” Alcasid said in a virtual press conference.
“So after two years, we’ll finally perform live for our friends in America and we can already feel their anticipation,” the 52-year-old OPM legend added.
It’s the first time Janine and Paulo will appear together in a concert tour overseas, thus the couple couldn’t hide their excitement when asked about their participation in the OA concert series.
“I’m super excited kasi first time kong magi-guest sa isang concert out of the country. First time ko rin nagka-working visa for the US so ang dami kong firsts for this trip. I’m just happy that after two years meron uling audience na makakaharap,” said Janine.
“Apart from doing the show, I’m excited to visit Star Wars Galaxy. Gusto ko s’yang makita. Parang gusto rin pumunta ni Kuya Ogie sa Star Wars Galaxy,” shared Paulo who added that aside from sightseeing, the concert tour will serve as their avenue to reconnect with fans and their friends in the US.
