Music aficionados, fashionistas, millennials, and everyone in between flocked to Globe Circuit Event Grounds in Makati by the thousands to witness the much talked about second installment of Manila X.

Considered the biggest, grandest style music event of the season, co-directed by Paolo Valenciano and John Lozano, Manila X effortlessly delivered its promise of assembling the biggest names in music and style in one spectacular stage.

Noted as the very first event in the Philippines to fuse together music and style, Manila X does not disappoint with its roster of musical artists that all brought the right amount of variety to cater to different tastes of music from rock stars like Franco to independent pop-R&B artists like Jess Connelly and rapper Curtismith.

Opening the show were Carlo Atendido accompanied by the A-Team and highlighted by a special segment featuring EuphoriaMaxx and brand ambassador Mr. World Philippines Sam Ajdani, followed by Tukari Sinati, Saydie, Ron Poe, Jess Connelly, and The Juans accompanied by their respective stylists and their models.

Among the crop of rising stars was Kiana Valenciano who had a lot to celebrate that night. Manila X served as the platform for BYS Philippines, one of the world’s fastest rising makeup brands, to debut Kiana as its official endorser. With the launch came a live performance from Kiana, wowing the audience with a surprise performance of DJ Moophs remix of her own single “Circles,” as well as her latest hit single “Does She Know” which continues to make waves in music charts nationwide. Kiana’s performance was backed up by the A-Team as well as stunning visuals of her soon to be released BYS campaign.

KZ Tandingan also delivered a powerful performance with her one of a kind rendition of Gloc-9’s “Sumayaw Ka” and “Sirena,” as she joined together the smooth stylings of R&B and rock as models sashayed down the runway.

Australian singer-songwriter and YouTube sensation William Singe

The King Of Rock and The Voice Of The Philippines coach Bamboo also graced the event with a thrilling performance of crowd favorite hits, prompting the entire event grounds to dance and sing along as the performer conquered the stage.

It was no secret that a much-awaited performance of the night was that of international YouTube sensation William Singe. The Australian singer-songwriter was on the stage and sang several of his hit YouTube covers as well as his original singles before hordes of screaming, adoring fans. But the fun did not stop there as a special performance by Bret Jackson, Sam Concepcion, and super surprise guest James Reid followed.

The event was capped with DJ Tom Taus taking to the stage, joined by Concepcion and Kiana Valenciano for a couple of songs. It was without a doubt another successful run for Manila X and people can’t wait for next year’s installment.
