ABS-CBN’s TFC, the leading international news and entertainment channel for Filipinos, has announced that TFC in HD is now available to Comcast’s Xfinity customers on X1 and via the Xfinity Stream app.
X1 customers can say “TFC” into the Xfinity Voice Remote to subscribe to and enjoy TFC’s high quality live original content with English subtitles including series, talk shows, variety shows, blockbuster movies, relevant news, and public service programs telecast in brilliant high definition. X1 customers can also find TFC programming within the International and Asian American Film and TV destinations on Xfinity on Demand.
“TFC is championing the effort to bring Filipinos the world-class entertainment content and viewing experience they want and deserve,” said Jun del Rosario, managing director for ABS-CBN International which covers North and Latin America.
“Especially during this ‘new normal’ where TV and online entertainment need to step up, we are happy that Comcast prioritized this effort to offer Filipino programs on TFC in HD to its Xfinity X1 customers,” the media executive added.
Xfinity customers can now enjoy TFC in HD programming including series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, A Soldier’s Heart, and Love Thy Woman, variety shows “It’s Showtime” and “ASAP Natin”, news program TV Patrol, and public service programs with Judy Ann Santos on Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan and Angel Locsin on Iba ‘Yan.
