Carousell, one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing classifieds, is stepping up to help in the fight against COVID-19 by announcing the launch of “COVID-19 Free Ads for Charity."

The initiative will offer up to $1.4 million in an advertising support program for non-profit organizations helping the communities impacted by COVID-19.

The amount will focus on supporting any non-profit organizations in the Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore and their efforts to replenish supply of food and essential health products, donations for upkeep cost, call for volunteers and other initiatives caring for families-at-risk and seniors in need.

“The COVID-19 pandemic is greatly impacting the lives of many in the region including the Philippines. We want to support Caritas Manila, a non-profit organization that is playing a key role during the crisis, through access to our platform and users to get greater visibility and a larger reach,” said Raffy Montemayor, General Manager, Carousell Philippines.

“We know that Caritas Manila will be able to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters in this time of great need while we all collectively do our part to help flatten the curve,” Montemayor continued.

Interested non-profit organizations can simply apply via https://caro.sl/freeadsforcharity.

“We want to thank Carousell for raising awareness for Caritas Manila so that we are able to receive resources to help alleviate the hunger of the less fortunate during this health and social pandemic,” said Fr. Anton CT Pascual, Executive Director, Caritas Manila.
