For Mars Pa More hosts Iya Villania and Camille Prats, having Kim Atienza in the show is “definitely a breath of fresh air,” viewers will see the program burst with a different level of energy, and men and children who watch the show will have someone whom they can relate to on a different personal level.
Beginning today, GMA Network’s well-loved family-oriented talk show introduces Atienza as its newest host and welcomes viewers in their new studio with all-new and exciting episodes.
“We’ll be able to broaden our market with Kuya Kim on board. For a time the show only catered to the mothers who are just home, and it’s really hard for kids to relate. Surprisingly, we also have male viewers, they would tune in because apparently, they are interested to know our opinion,” Villania told Manila Standard Entertainment in an interview.
As the show’s official “Pars,” expect to see Atienza share his male perspective on the “chikahan and paandaran” of resident hosts. His banter and opinions will surely be full of amazing trivia about things that interest every viewer.
“This show will cater now to the whole family. Kuya Kim makes other family members who are also interested in chikahan, officially part of the show. Kuya Kim shares meaningful opinions and I think he’s the official face of the Pars,” Prats added.
The trio is set to lead a more interactive and engaging bonding moment through the show’s fresh segments.
In ‘Mars/Man of the Hour,’ Filipinos whose accomplishments have brought prestige to the country are given the spotlight; in ‘Mars/Pars of the World,’ viewers are given a virtual tour of scenic and exotic locations abroad by fellow Filipinos living there; and in ‘Benta Box,’ the hosts personally converse with online followers who are handed a surprise, hidden in mystery boxes. An entertaining spin on intrigahan with celebrity guests also awaits viewers in ‘Lightning Laglagan’ and ‘Pasabog Na Chika.’
Meanwhile, watch out as Kuya Kim hits the road to bring viewers to exciting dining destinations, outdoor activities, and celebrity encounters in his special segment.
“My equity as Kuya Kim will not change here in Mars Pa More. I will still bring in a lot of trivia. A lot of wisdom will be put on the table but this time in a lot more fun, casual, and playful way,” Atienza shared.
