Screen star and entrepreneur Jodi Sta. Maria recently made headlines after photos of her and the new apple of her eye made rounds online. But that partnership is an entirely different story. Jodi has another partnership bigger than her personal rendezvous.

The 38-year-old actress has launched a company that aims to provide livelihood to those who are determined to run a business and be their own boss. In this endeavor, Jodi joined forces with businessmen Nino Bautista and Red Gatus.

Called Healthy Fix, the minds behind the brand have built a reputation for world-class manufacturing and knowledge based on 15 years of industry experience.

“When you choose HealthyFix, you choose the largest natural health supplement and specialist food and cosmetics manufacturer,” the company says on its Facebook page.

Jodi Sta. Maria goes into health and wellness business with the launch of Healthy Fix, which aims to provide business opportunities for diligent Filipinos.

According to Jodi, the concept of Healthy Fix started even before the pandemic, the idea was conceived years ago even.

“The core of our business is built upon our vision to offer good quality products and at the same time offer business opportunities to those who need it or to those who want to try it out in business,” the actress told Manila Standard Entertainment during the company’s official media launch.

“I have been into taking care of one’s health. When I speak of one’s health, hindi lang siya limited to physical and mental health, it’s being healthy spiritually and psychologically. We have to start by having a healthy physical body,” she added.

With this venture, Jodi admitted that she’s learned a lot from her business partners and they inspired her to be more receptive to new ideas.

“I’m just open to learning from the experts. Sometimes you thought you already know it all but when you enter into a new field, you would suddenly ask yourself ‘How much do I really know of the world that we live in?’ There’s still so much to learn. I’m a sucker for learning new things,” Jodi related.

For her partner, Nino Bautista, who is the founder and director of BFC Lab, having Jodi on board makes their business “feels more of an advocacy.”

“As a pharmacist, I’m more focused on the industrial side. I love researching and formulating products. It has always been my passion to develop products that prevent diseases and help people feel good about themselves. With Jodi, we look at stretching our capabilities to help more people especially those who are in need,” Bautista shared.

“We are so excited to work with Jodi. As we all know, a lot of Filipinos do not have access to quality healthcare products. It is our goal to reach consumers in far-flung areas, and even abroad,” BFC Lab Managing Director Red Gatus said.

HealthyFix is a dealership company, it is driven by the intention to help consumers attain sustainable living through health, beauty, and wellness products.
