Judy Ann Santos was stoked for the fact that ABS-CBN has flexed its muscles so she could return on the small screen. But when the project Paaano Kita Mapasasalamatan was offered to the actress and TV host, her initial question was, “where are we going to air?”

The superstar of her generation had an online presser on Wednesday. It was attended by some members of the entertainment press and the blogging community.

She was all smiles when her face appeared on the screen and her eyes widened when she saw some familiar faces.

“So, this is how we do it. This is the new normal,” the 42-year-old star started. "I'm glad to do this and share with you that we are going to air on Kapamilya Channel."

‘Paano Kita Mapapasalamatan,’ hosted by Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, is a docu-drama that offers heartwarming stories.

Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo is going to share powerful stories of generosity and compassion in the new docu-drama that premieres tomorrow (June 13), 6:45 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, a pay television network owned and operated by ABS-CBN Corporation that begins broadcast tomorrow as well.

“Our main goal is to make people smile. This has been a rough year for all of us, but we have a lot of reasons to smile. For myself, for instance, my family, the fact that we are together, that’s enough reason for me to smile all the time,” she told Manila Standard during the online press conference.

According to Judy Ann, Paano Kita Mapapasalamatan highlights how acts of kindness—no matter how big or small—can impact people for life and inspire them to offer a helping hand to others.

Through interviews of the featured individuals and dramatization of their experiences, the show hopes to give inspiration to viewers and show them the power of kindness to change other people’s lives for the better.

In the first episode, Juday brings out Iza Calzado, who will tribute to Donna, her househelp who chose to stay with her during the quarantine and refused to leave her side while she was battling COVID-19.

Donna, in turn, offers her sincere gratitude to Rod and Lin, a couple who helped her pick up the pieces after a fatal accident. The couple also thanks Lando, a dear assistant who is like family to them. Lando also shows his appreciation for a special person who sacrificed everything for him and his siblings.

“It’s a heartwarming story that’s very relevant today,” Judy Ann said.
