REGAL Entertainment’s intriguing sex drama, The Escort, starring Derek Ramsay and Lovi Poe under the direction of Enzo Williams, in theaters now has been classified R-13 without cuts by the MTRCB.

This has delighted the mother-daughter producers Lily and Roselle Monteverde. The former said the censors found the scenes between Ramsay and Poe titillating but not obscene. The same goes for the scenes between Poe and Christopher de Leon as well as Ramsay and Jean Garcia who for the first time showed on screen she can still be daring and give younger stars a run for their money.

The four actors were so drawn to their respective characters that they agreed to dabble in several steamy lovemaking scenes tastefully executed by Williams.

Poe went as far as going topless in an intimate scene with Ramsay. So was the hunk actor who agreed to be deshabille in scenes with his female costars.

In The Escort, Ramsay is an ex-escort named Xyruz. Abandoned by his mom at a young age and dumped by his fiancée a few days before their wedding drive Xyruz to look at women with disdain and vow never to fall in love again.

When Xyruz and Yassi’s paths cross, the former surprisingly falls for the latter. He tries hard to resist his feelings as he wants her to join the escort company where he works as a senior.

Yet, Xyruz is head over heels in love with Yassi but he has to sacrifice his feelings for her in exchange for work. He has to ignore what he feels so he can offer Yassi as an escort to rich real estate mogul Gary (De Leon).

Will Xyruz and Yassi sacrifice love for each other over wealth and success? That’s what you should find out. So, go and catch a screening at a Cineplex near you.
