Filipino-Chinese beauty Annie Uson Chen, representing Manila, was named Miss Chinese World 2023 during the grand finals, held in Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on May 20.
Uson, who was appointed Miss Chinese World Philippines 2023 by the Mutya ng Pilipinas organization led by Cory Quirino, bested 16 other candidates representing Chinese communities from around the world. She was crowned by Miss Chinese World 2017 Yin Zhuo Qun from Shanghai, China.
Uson, 26, a top 10 finalist of Eat Bulaga’s Miss Millennial Philippines 2017, also won the subsidiary title of One Doc Miss Charm. Her runners-up were Joan Angelina from Tangerang, Java, Indonesia (first) and Yoong Jia Yi from Melaka, Malaysia (second). Miss Chinatown Philippines 2022 Berjayneth Chee, representing Misamis Oriental, won the subsidiary title Miss Kemm Ambassador.

The Binibining Pilipinas 2023 search is on the home stretch with the holding of the pageant’s National Costume x Fashion Show at the New Frontier Theater and the annual Parade of Beauties around Araneta City leading to the much-awaited Grand Coronation Night happening on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The forty lovely candidates’ national costumes showcased their regions’ rich, cultural heritage with amazing creations by talented local designers. The winner of the national costume award will be known on the finals night.
Meanwhile, reigning Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg is arriving in Manila to crown the winner of Bb. Pilipinas International 2023.
