Crowning Mrs. Universe Philippines 2021 at Okada Manila

All roads lead to Okada Manila for the grand coronation of Mrs. Universe Philippines 2021 with 18 driven and empowered married women vying for the titles Mrs. Universe Philippines 2021, Mrs. Pacific Continental 2021 and Mrs. North Pacific Asia 2021. 

The finals night was originally set on Sept. 4 but was postponed to a later date to be announced when COVID-19 situation improved.

Mrs. Universe Philippines 2019 Maria Charo Laude Calalo, National Director of Mrs. Universe Philippines, said the advocacies of the candidates will be a major factor in deciding who will take the crowns. Mrs. Universe Philippines 2021 will earn the right to compete at the Mrs. Universe International pageant to be held in Seoul, Korea in December 2021.

At the press presentation held recently, Monique Cantalejo-Rivera of Laguna, Michelle Lucas of Rizal, and Heaven Peñaflorida of Makati City were voted Darling(s) of the Press.

1. Claudeline Cuntapay-Molero of Davao Del Norte, an entrepreneur, advocates for women and children welfare through the "Cultivating Livelihood Activities Underscoring Development and Empowerment (CLAUDE)" program.

2. Ellen Poyaoan-Santos of Pangasinan has a Ph.D. holder in Business and Public Administrations and is a licensed Aesthetician. Her advocacy “Every Child A Reader” aims to inculcate the seeds of education among marginalized Filipino children that will grow and bear fruits of empowerment and self-confidence to contribute to the sustainable development of society.

3. Joanna Marie Razon of Muntinlupa City aims to achieve a dynamic community of social entrepreneurs that advocates change in every person’s life by leading and empowering them in their journey toward achieving their dreams, conquering their limitations, and creating a successful and meaningful life.

4. Odezza Ramos-Narag of Tarlac is a Professional Agriculturist, Financial Planner, and former President of one of the Biggest Women Organizations called RELIEF SOCIETY. Her Advocacy is to SHARE the Missing Link with Entrepreneurship that will Break the Chain of Poverty and that is Financial Literacy

5. Rosana Eugenio of Bulacan, a flight attendant and International Makeup Artist, advocates child development through proper nutrition, supports the projects “Philia’s Box,” which conducts school feedings, and “V on Wings” which provides food and free schooling for daycare students in San Miguel Bulacan.

6. Sofia Lee of Negros Oriental advocates helping street children by doing charitable works and collaborations with orphanages.

7. Mutya Kristina Pacis of Valenzuela City, a mindfulness practitioner, advocates empowering people through a holistic approach (mind, body, and soul).

8. Heaven Peñaflorida of Makati City, a former Flight Attendant and tour guide, an entrepreneur and Executive Assistant for a private company advocates for Women Empowerment, ending violence against women and children.

9. Monique Cantalejo-Rivera of Laguna advocates mental health awareness which is critical in the midst of the pandemic.

10. Christine Escalante of Manila, heads the League of Empowered Women (LEW) which helps domestic women to give them support emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, and is the vice president of "Wanita Filipina," which aims to empower each and every woman in the country.

11. Maria Fe Aliba of Baguio City a BS Biology graduate and professional make-up artist and advocates “Women Empowerment.”

12.  Marissan Conche of Bicol, a Nurse and aesthetician, is working to improve the lives of others by empowering women's confidence and advocates to care for people with Alopecia.

13. Rosemarie Dumadara-Koerner of Aurora is the Director of Aurora-Inter Organizational Alliance, an organization of migrants from her province of Aurora. She manages Angel’s Residence, a home care facility for the elderly where she and her team provide unparalleled care to senior citizens.

14. Michelle Lucas of Rizal, president of the Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) Rizal, advocates Youth Development and Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship. She supports charities for the Abandoned Children, Abused Women, and displaced Seniors.

15. Alec Nicole Bathan of Batangas, a former flight attendant and now a successful international property specialist and entrepreneur, is an advocate of raising awareness and giving support to mental health issues.

16 . Frenelyn Soloria of Quezon City advocates in helping the poorest of the poor by giving them opportunities to find work here and abroad.

17. Virgie Chua of General Santos City, a businesswoman, advocates to empower every mother through outreach programs, livelihood initiatives, and leadership activities, and to uplift the lives and elevate the worth of those who are in the most vulnerable situation

18. Sarah Liroe Javier of Cavite, an actress/singer/former member of the youth tv show “That’s Entertainment, advocates for the importance of Mental Health Awareness which is essential for one’s health productivity and happiness, as well as for the welfare of the community.
