Sarah Lahbati is the face of Strokes Beauty Lab’s Click Lipstick collection

Of the many role actress Sarah Lahbati has had to play throughout her career and in her personal life, she’s got one that she can play with her eyes closed: a multi-faceted powerhouse of a woman.

All these facets are given color and light as she stuns in Strokes Beauty Lab’s Velvet Click Stick Collection campaign, where Sarah is revealed as the face of the brand’s line of click lipsticks that was launched last Nov. 25.

The campaign boasts of its esteemed roster of creatives, among which are Creative Director Mond Gutierrez, Emmy award-winning Director Mike Carandang, in-demand Photographer Bj Pascual, Celebrity MUA Jelly Eugenio, and many other creative talents who brought the brand’s vision for the collection to life.

The #LipItUpAnyDay campaign showcases the variety of roles that the everyday woman and man can play outside of their usual personas: a fashionista, a slay-at-home beaut, an adventurer, and a girl boss — all of which is Sarah Lahbati in a nutshell.

You’d think the superstar mom’s schedule would be filled as it is, with her days seemingly being packed with activities like working out, helping her son Zion with his online classes, and jumping on work emails.

But Sarah knows that she’s more than just a day role.

“I think it’s important to be multi-faceted for us to continuously believe that we can be whoever we want to be. . .,” said the ravisher. “Women don’t fit into one box anymore.”

For Sarah, you can play different roles, have different goals, and still live a cohesive, enjoyable life.

This perspective of hers was inspired by the enlightenment that this unpredictable, pandemic-sieged time has brought.

“We live in an uncertain year where we shouldn’t waste time doubting ourselves, but instead, we should focus on working hard to achieve our goals, help each other out, and of course, make sure we do things that bring us joy.”

The pandemic also introduced us to the new normal scheme of having to wear masks all the time, but that isn’t enough to convince Founder and CEO Momoi Supe that it’s no longer important to invest in lip beauty.

“Lip beauty mirrors your mood and your feelings, so the psychological effect it holds is unlike any other beauty product,” said Momoi. “We have to wear masks now, but in the moments that we don’t — at home, while on Zoom meetings, having lunch — why not make it count by giving ourselves a boost of confidence?”

And that “boost of confidence” dream ended up being the star of the campaign in the form of Sarah, who rocked the Velvet Click Stick Collection that comes in nine universally appealing shades, all of which she claims to be “obsessed with”!

“The velvet click sticks are so easy to use, very buildable and smooth on the lips. . . I love Vittoria, Cameo, Viper, Spice and Copperhead!” she excitedly remarked.

Momoi had envisioned Sarah as the face of his newest collection long before the campaign concept was even created.

“Aside from her picture perfect lips, Sarah has such a well-rounded personality, and is known to be classy, but still relatable. That is exactly how I want my collection to be perceived — luxurious, but always attainable and within reach, and embodies the everyday confidence promise of the brand through its #LipItUpAnyDay encouragement,” said Momoi.

And of the many roles she plays and, consequently, of the many stories that she has to tell, how does Sarah Lahbati #LipItUpAnyDay?

“By making my days more fun and creative through colors and fun outfits even if I’m just home. No one said you can’t look good at home. Taking care of yourself is a must in order to take good care of your loved ones.”

The Velvet Click Stick Collection is Strokes Beauty Lab’s line of matte lipsticks that comes with a unique, non-retractable click stick feature to ensure little to no product waste. Its full body product cover protects the product’s creamy and buttery texture that allows for a moisturizing feel despite its matte finish.

All infused with Vitamin E, plant-based Squalane, and Sunflower Seed Oil, the products condition the lips for long-term skin smoothness and softness, staying true to the brand’s practice of tying up beautification with treatment.

Designed in California and made in PRC of responsibly sourced global ingredients, the cruelty-free and high-grade quality products are being offered at a refreshingly inexpensive price, continuing the new era’s narrative of the real price of quality beauty.

As Sarah takes on the role as the face of the brand’s newest collection, the new era of beauty is now shining light on the most important of them all: the multi-faceted role of a storyteller who colors the talk.

Sarah Lahbati and the Velvet Click Stick Collection is the tandem that proves that for every role you play, you can, indeed, #LipItUpAnyDay.

Strokes Beauty Lab’s Click Lipstick Collection drops today exclusively on www.strokes.ph. It was made available on Shopee (Nov. 27) and Lazada (Nov. 28).
