Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. is currently in isolation and under medical care after testing positive for the COVID-19 virus.
In a social media post on Sunday, the actor-politician shared that he immediately had himself and his family tested after someone in their household and a member of his staff tested positive for the virus.
According to the 53-year-old Revilla, he last went to the Senate on Monday, Aug. 3, and the last time he stepped out of his home was on Tuesday, Aug. 4, for the commemoration of the 40th day since the death of his father Ramon Revilla, Sr.
“I was last in the Senate on Monday before all of this, and was last out on Tuesday nung 40th day ni Daddy," he wrote in a Facebook post.
Meanwhile, his wife, Cavite 2nd District Rep. Lani Mercado and their children are doing fine as they have tested negative for the dreaded disease.
