It’s the same entertaining spirit Ai-Ai delas Alas continues to display to her loyal fans and supporters, but this time with brand new partners. The TV host and performer, known as the Comedy Concert Queen, has signed a management contract with GMA Artist Center.
“I decided to officially join them because it’s time I pay back. Since 1990, taga-GMA na ako talaga, the network gave opportunities when I was just a struggling artist. It’s my 30th anniversary in the business and sumabay din ako sa 70th anniversary ng GMA, para terno,” the veteran comedienne exclaimed.
According to Ai-Ai, she still has a lot to bring to the table. She invites her fans to watch out for her upcoming projects.
“Napaka-daming ganap. I have a soap, The Clash Season 3, and I’ll have out of the country shows once overseas travels are already allowed,” she said.
Moreover, she hopes that this new partnership will open more doors for her. A few of her fellow Kapuso artists she looks forward to work with in the future are Alden Richards, Rocco Nacino, EA Guzman, and Sanya Lopez, among others.
Present in the contract signing ceremony held at the 17th floor executive lounge of GMA were Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer, and Senior Talent Manager Daryl Zamora.
“We welcome Ms. Ai-Ai to GMA Artist Center. We are thrilled to work with her in her upcoming projects and to find more opportunities for growth,” Santiago-Lara said.
