Congratulations to Team Payaman’s Vien Iligan and Marlon Velasquez, aka Junnie Boy, who recently tied the knot at Divine Mercy Parish in Silang, Cavite. Their social media pictures probably don’t justify just how happy they are. Although their marriage came later than their son, Mavi, the pair proved that it’s necessary to learn more about your partner behind closed doors before making a lifelong commitment. Luckily, both Vien and Junnie Boy share many characteristics that make them ideal for each other.

UAAP Season 84

Sports fans, students, and alumni can’t contain their excitement with the return of UAAP. Now on its 84th season, the popular sports event became the talk of the town as viewers and fans gushed about their favorite players and their performances. It’s also refreshing to see students slowly rekindle their interest in sports while showing their support for their respective schools. Here’s hoping they’d get to watch it live again soon.

People …are not talking about

Rufa Mae Quinto

In this week’s “Top 5 Anime betrayals,” comedienne and actress Rufa Mae Quinto earned the disappointment of netizens as she reportedly admitted to supporting aspiring presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos. Many celebrities established that there’s nothing wrong with supporting their respective candidates, but people can’t help but wonder why Rufa returned to the Philippines after living comfortably in the United States of America for years.

Willie Revillame

The popular Filipino host is facing rumors that he’s begging GMA Network to take him back after he didn’t renew his contract with the network. Much like everyone else, Willie isn’t pleased with the spread of fake news, especially with him as the subject. Aside from telling the public to ignore negative and false news, the TV host also advises media outlets to stop branding him as a billionaire because he’s not a businessman. Here’s hoping that people will stop peddling fake news and look for more credible sources.
