As the weather heats up, actress Max Collins hits her favorite beach destinations to chase sunlight. Growing up in the island paradise of Boracay, she has fond memories of idyllic childhoods spent swimming on the beach, watching the sunset, playing ultimate frisbee, and hanging out with friends.
“I love summer because everyone seems to be in a good mood. There’s lots of sun and happy people,” Max says.
After wrapping up To Have and To Hold with Carla Abellana and Rocco Nacino, she is taking summer head on by preparing for swimsuit season with a diet and fitness regimen.
“I make sure to do my workouts every day, usually with fitness coach Inigo Hizon which I mix up with yoga or Pilates sessions with Citadel Bernardo. Eating healthy is also so important! I replace one meal a day with salad or kamote and egg, and I don’t eat after 7:00 p.m. Staying hydrated has been difficult for me but it’s something I’ve been working on,” Max reveals.
