However, what many people don’t see is the other side of this industry: more than being in the spotlight, it is a job that includes a hectic schedule and long taping hours, a lot of skill in front of the camera, and thick skin. For Magnum’s newest endorsers Raymond Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati, and Janine Gutierrez— who are, coincidentally, under the same family tree–a little “me time” during stressful times is necessary. By speaking to them, we got a few tips on how to take a break from adulting.
Known for his work in events and television (both behind and in front of the screen), Raymond Gutierrez seems to live a pretty busy life. Recently, Raymond has prioritized his fitness and getting back in shape. However, this doesn’t stop him from rewarding himself every once in a while for his efforts. His guilty pleasure of choice during these breaks? The new Magnum Red Velvet, which is a base of milk and white chocolate swirl coated with cream cheese, and then covered with a white chocolate shell.
You’ve seen her face on television, on billboards, and on the covers of your favorite magazines. With these accomplishments under her belt, Sarah Lahbati seems to be the proud of being a mother to the young Zion, her child by actor Richard Gutierrez. When asked about how she balances her time, she says, “I’m very busy but when I can, I bring Zion to work sometimes. I make sure to spend a lot of time with him as he is growing up.” When she needs a little time to herself, Sarah likes to work out since it makes her feel great. “It also makes me feel less guilty because I have a sweet tooth!” she shares.
Janine Gutierrez was born to be a star. Whether it is her classic beauty that instantly gets your attention or the fact that she is showbiz royalty, she was simply meant for the spotlight. With shoots, guest appearances, and hectic taping schedules on a daily basis, Janine makes sure to give importance to being able to unwind with her family at the end of the day. “When I need to take a break from my hectic schedule, I like to unwind with my family. My sisters and I love to bond over eating ice cream. Since I love anything white chocolate, the new Magnum White Almond was an automatic favorite of mine,” shares Janine.
Like Raymond, Sarah, and Janine, you don’t have to feel guilty for indulging yourself here and there. With the help of Magnum’s two new exciting flavors this summer, one should remember to keep a #NeverStopPlaying attitude.
