Anna Magkawas, the CEO of Luxe Beauty and Wellness Group, has been given the opportunity to host a new segment called “Ka-Negosyo with Anna” on AllTV’s business-centric show Negosyo Goals.
This came about after the show’s primary host Gerry “Mr. Freeze” Santos invited Magkawas to join him following her inspiring success story at an event. The show’s producer, Ivy Ataya, selected Magkawas for her authenticity and unique approach to doing business.
During her debut episode, Magkawas shared how she built her company from the ground up to become a well-known brand trusted by celebrity influencers. In future episodes, she plans to showcase how her brand helps others establish small businesses and turn them into successful brands.
Magkawas is a successful CEO with close to a million followers on TikTok and millions of views. Despite her success, she was surprised to be offered a TV hosting role, as she was not used to appearing on TV. However, she saw this as an opportunity to inspire others and accepted the offer.
“Until now hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na ito na talaga yon kasi hindi ako sanay. Parang hanggang vlog, hanggang TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram lang ako tapos biglang lalabas tayo sa TV,” she confessed to her Instagram followers.
Gerry Santos noted that Magkawas’ character, as well as her business savvy, made her an ideal choice for the show. He wanted viewers to be inspired by her success story, which involves transitioning from being an employee to a successful businesswoman. The result of their partnership was the creation of “Ka-negosyo with Anna”.
“Ganda rin nung success story sya. Sinabi ko kina Ivy (Ataya) and Joyce (Selga), producers of the show. Tapos nag meeting sila at nung nakita na okay, binigyan namin ng chance maging co-host ng 13 episodes,” said Gerry.
It was not just her business savvy that was impressive, he noted, but most importantly, her character.
“Humility is good for character building kaya sabi ko, gusto ko itong i-feature sa Negosyo Goals kasi may success story sya,” he related. Marami kasing successful pero napunta sa ulo ‘yung success. [Kami] parang may same story kaya kinuha ko.”
In the segment, Magkawas features success stories of the dealers of her budding beauty empire, Luxe Beauty and Wellness, and shares insights on how she and her husband grew their home business. She also provides business tips and product recommendations.
Magkawas’ ultimate “negosyo goal” is to have her own pharmaceutical company so she can help others while also making a profit. Negosyo Goals is an inspiring 30-minute business show that airs every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. on AllTV.
