People…are talking about

Daniel Padilla

He’s proven so many times that his fans will buy anything he sells. Whether it’s a concert ticket or a new CD, success in his musical endeavor is always guaranteed. We’ve seen him fill the Araneta Coliseum to the rafters twice and he’s on a mission to do it again in February.  It really takes guts and charm to pull off a career as a bad singer, but the rewards can be great.

Marian Rivera

Despite the negative comments she received on breastfeeding in public, Kapuso network’s Primetime Queen is set on being an example for other young mothers. Named as Breastfeeding Influencer and Advocate awardee by Mother and Child Nurses Association of the Philippines, Inc., Marian showed that there’s nothing to be ashamed of when breastfeeding as long as it’s done properly. See how motherhood has changed Marian’s life?

The Unmarried Wife

It turns out that this love triangle made complicated by infidelity is a big hit among Tagalog movie fans. The romantic drama with Dingdong Dantes, Angelica Panganiban, and Paolo Avelino officially crossed the P100-million mark on its first week and is expected to breach the P200-million mark before the first week of December ends. With the film’s box office performance people begin to wonder if the story was really the film’s big draw because obviously the stars aren’t big enough to influence moviegoers.

Marlo Mortel

He is reunited with his first onscreen partner, Janella Salvador. The two are part of the MMFF reject Mano Po 7, which is set to premiere in two weeks’ time. During the film’s press launch, the young actor admitted that he felt bad when their love team was disbanded after Elmo Magalona came into picture.  But he clarified though that he now supports the new onscreen pair. It’s a good gesture from the young actor but that doesn’t change the fact that his network immediately ignored him when they saw someone more marketable.

Vice Ganda

He’s one of the more credible judges in the reality talent show he is currently part of. Vice is brutally honest when he gives his comment and observation. But is he receptive to feedback the same way he expects other people to be? Would he accept that what he said about his films being of good quality and that his film’s exclusion at the MMFF 2016 is the filmfests loss and not his was a joke to many people? Obviously, Vice can’t be objective. His objectivity and his supposedly discriminating taste are just illusion.

Tito Sotto

The TV host-politician is not just a comedian, he’s also trying to be a fortune teller, too. In one of his interviews, Sotto categorically said “MMFF will not make a lot of money this year.” He foresees that the film event will be a disaster because it snubbed his brother’s film. Believe us, Mercedes Cabral wouldn’t be so happy with this statement. She might even call Sotto’s attention and ask him to focus on his job in the Senate, the only place where he’s supposed to be working.
