As Kathryn adds, “May 15 seconds kasi na pinakita yung meeting namin hanggang sa paano kami…” she ends with a giggle, preferring to keep things hanging.
Daniel is more vocal about what made him enjoy doing the commercial, “Happy na naman ako kasi, kasama ko si Kathryn dito kaya kumpletong-kumpleto.”
“Kilig ang commercial,” Kathryn pipes.
“Kilig, pero napaka-natural,” Daniel clarifies with a big smile.
Now it’s no secret how KathNiel’s love team onscreen has grown. But has that love translated into real life, too? Have they found true love in each other?
“Maybe!,” Daniel answers laughing, while Kathryn, throws the question back and says, “Siya na lang ang tanungin nyo dyan,” before admitting with a laugh, “maybe!”
This is what keeps the KathNiel fever alive – the kilig that keeps people guessing just how in love they are because there is no question that they are and dating, at that.
As Daniel describes it, dating the KathNiel way is more than “getting to know each other.” It is already in the “dating comfortably” stage – eating together, watching TV, discovering new restaurants, going out on group dates or heading out of town with their barkada and even their moms. And just like in their movies where they prefer to be paired off only with each other, they are exclusive and want to take it slowly, discovering new things, taking things to a different level one step at a time.
This year, they take their professional partnership one notch higher, too, with their newest movie, which was shot in the beautiful Spanish city, Barcelona, and is sure to be another box-office hit. That they are magic in the box-office is guaranteed, their fans are the most supportive in the land.
As Daniel says, “Yung mga fans namin, mga KathNiel, yun ang malupit. Yun ang mga record-breaker talaga.”
The fans are their inspiration and that is why Daniel and Kathryn are bent on doing their best and offer more. They want to flourish in the industry that they have chosen to be part of, to mature, learn new things and at the same time grow with their fans. As Kathryn shares, “Masarap sa feeling na kapag matanda na sila, yun din kami.”
