city’s recovery from the devastation of Typhoon Yolanda

The power couple introduced to the public the “I Love Tacloban” band which Cristina established on Sept. 27, 2014. The band is composed of 11 youth – nine boys and three girls, all survivors of super typhoon Yolanda that devastated the Visayas in 2013.

The band will perform at Los Angeles with the Chamber of Commerce on March 15, and Mayor Alfred and Councilor Kring will bring them to the East Coast then West Coast in May.

The band’s performances will raise funds for the continuous recovery of Tacloban City. The band will perform OPM and Christian songs.

“I thought of establishing the band to serve as an inspiration and bringer of hope through music to our kababayan in Tacloban. Their music is beautiful and we hope to uplift everyone’s spirits when they hear the young talented musicians play and sing,” said Councilor Gonzales-Romualdez.
