Vice presidential frontrunner Sara Duterte-Carpio on Monday said will meet with support groups starting today for a four-day thanksgiving caravan to personally convey her gratitude for their unwavering efforts throughout her campaign.
“Tomorrow, our thanksgiving caravan will start so I will go to Manila,” she said in an interview after she casted her vote at the Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School in Davao City Monday morning.

“We have scheduled a meeting per group – it’s basically me personally saying thank you to all of them,” she added.
Duterte-Carpio’s four-day thanksgiving caravan will also include a visit to the Lakas-CMD headquarters in Mandaluyong.
An online thanksgiving event will also be held on May 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon via the Mayor Inday Sara Duterte official Facebook page.

One of Duterte-Carpio’s 90-day campaign highlights was the Mahalin Natin ang Pilipinas Ride (MNPR), where she embarked on a month-long country loop caravan to campaign for unity, peace, and patriotism.

The ride was an eye-opener, Duterte-Carpio said, as she was able to assess first hand grassroot situations, local development, and the living conditions of Filipinos in the countryside.
“We will also have a gift-giving for Davao City. Win or lose, we have already scheduled that gift-giving event for our less fortunate constituents in Davao City,” she added.
