The oil companies raised gasoline prices by P0.30 per liter and rolled back diesel prices by P0.15 per liter effective at 6 am today, Tuesday.

They left kerosene prices untouched.

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. announced the changes as well as Seaoil Philippines, Eastern Petroleum, Flying V and PTT Philippines.

The other oil firms were expected to follow suit.

World oil prices eased last week due to a possible supply increase from Russia and other oil players, although prices went up earlier last week amid supply concerns from Libya, Norway, and Iraq.

The agency said 198 gas stations violated “Retail Rules” while 156 LPG establishments  breached “LPG Industry Rules.”

“The DOE stringently monitors businesses to ensure that our people are not short-changed on the petroleum products they purchase,” Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi said earlier.
