A road accident has killed four persons and injured eight others in Tanauan City, Batangas on Thursday.
This happened after a ten-wheeler truck hit two tricycles in Barangay Natatas.
The truck driver reportedly lost his brake as he was driving along a road on a downward slope.
The 4 victims were declared dead on arrival in the hospital.
The driver has been identified as Richard Lozano.
Police has taken custody of him.
Lozano will face criminal complaints including reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide.
