Police have captured nine persons in separate drug buy-bust operations in Bacoor City and Cavite City.
Arrested after the operation in Barangay Niog 2 in Bacoor were Maria Jesusa Sanchez, 34; Renan Añasco, 36; Randy Añasco, 44; Allan Espiritu, 40; and Michael Lapuz, 39.
In Barangay 30, Caridad, Cavite City, arrested were Rommel Depano, 36; Ronaldo Calderon, 38; Hajjie Inocencio, 34; and Dexter Samoy, 44.
The Bacoor bust produced 22 sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money, the Cavite Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group led by Police Insp. Marcelino Perez Male said.
The suspects in Cavite City were caught during an active drug session, as police chanced on Depano throwing away a plastic sachet while holding a piece of aluminum foil and a lighter.
